<\/a>Sina Ghami’s family describe him as an ‘angel’ <\/p>\n

The uncle of Sina Ghami, Anthony Joshua\u2019s close friend and physiotherapist who was killed in the collision has described him as an \u201cangel living amongst us\u201d. <\/p>\n

Shahryar Rumi told The Times his family was \u201cdistraught\u201d and said: \u201cPersonally, there is no one kinder, no one more generous, no one more compassionate, no one more brotherly. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe helped so many people, in every way shape or form. Without even knowing them he would know that if they needed money, never would he turn anybody away. If they ask for \u00a3500, he would give them \u00a32,000. He was that kind of an angel. The least selfish person I have ever known.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rumi added: \u201cThey were friends, Anthony Joshua and Sina. They worked together, but they began as friends. Even on this trip, he didn\u2019t want him to be alone, so he went with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/a>Talks of fight with Tyson Fury ‘has been pushed to the side’ <\/p>\n

In an article for the BBC, boxing pundit Steve Bunce said that any talks of a fight with boxing legend Tyson Fury have been indefinitely put on hold. <\/p>\n

\u201cAJ was scheduled to fight in March and then of course there was the planned showdown with Tyson Fury,\u201d he wrote. <\/p>\n

\u201cHis promoter Eddie Hearn spoke to me 10 days ago and told me negotiations for the belated fight with Fury were at a stage they have never been at before – they were that close, and that close to the fight being announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of that has been forgotten now. All of that has been pushed to the side.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been an understandable and appropriate silence in that respect from people inside boxing. Let’s not mince our words, we are not known for following protocol, but it is different when it comes to this kind of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps said preliminary investigations indicated the vehicle was \u201ctravelling beyond the legally prescribed speed limit\u201d and \u201clost control during an overtaking manoeuvre\u201d before it crashed into a stationary truck by the side of the road.<\/p>\n

The Ogun State Police Commissioner, Lanre Ogunlowo, told ESPN<\/a> that the accident happened as a result of a \u201cburst tyre\u201d on the vehicle, which caused the driver to lose control and the vehicle to swerve into the stationary truck parked along the road\u201d.<\/p>\n
