The New York Knicks<\/a> enter Wednesday’s game looking to continue on an impressive run. New York has gone 11-3 thus far in the month of December with their only losses coming to the Boston Celtics<\/a>, Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> and Philadelphia 76ers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That said, their opponent, the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> will be eager to get revenge coming off of their last defeat against New York in the NBA Cup Final.<\/p>\n

Although both teams are battling injuries in some regard, between the two sides, the Knicks seem to have the worst of it.<\/p>\n

Despite returning to basketball activities, Landry Shamet is not yet ready to return from a shoulder injury. Josh Hart remains sidelined with an ankle injury and is set to be re-evaluated soon.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Robinson has also been ruled out<\/a> due to an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

After taking an elbow to the face from Zion Williamson in New York’s last matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans<\/a>, Ariel Hukporti is listed as questionable.<\/p>\n

Lastly, backup point guard Tyler Kolek has been listed as probable with right ankle soreness.<\/p>\n

If Hukporti is unable to suit up, the Knicks’ frontcourt depth will be thin. Guerschon Yabusele may be asked to play extended minutes in relief of Karl-Anthony Towns. Especially considering the length of San Antonio’s frontcourt, containing both Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet.<\/p>\n

Following Wednesday’s game, the Knicks will return to Madison Square Garden briefly for two games, one against the Atlanta Hawks<\/a> Friday and the other against the 76ers Saturday.<\/p>\n
