The headline, without question, was the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Five Grey Cups\u2014still hard to believe. The Riders\u2019 25\u201317 win over Montreal in the 112th Grey Cup put them back on top of the CFL, with plenty of Saskatchewan talent playing key roles. The moment that stands out most, though, wasn\u2019t the final in Winnipeg, but that last, pressure-packed drive in the West Final. Trevor Harris calmly leading the charge was the kind of drama Mosaic Stadium had been waiting for, and seeing Rider fans celebrate another title\u2014on enemy turf\u2014felt long overdue.<\/p>\n
On the ice the Pat Canadians delivered a season for the ages. Their fifth Telus\u00a0Cup came with a dramatic overtime win over L\u00e9vis, capped by Maddox Schultz\u2019s winner just 28 seconds into extra time.
