Everybody is showing off their new kit on Jan. 1, including the elite women\u2019s national champion, Alison Jackson. Vermillion, Alta\u2019s Jackson will ride for the French team St Michel \u2013 Preference Home \u2013 Auber93<\/a> for the next two years, and she has a brand-new national champs jersey.<\/p>\n

On 2026<\/p>\n

\u201cI am really looking forward to contributing to the building of a strong and respected team, competitive at the highest level of the peloton. My ambition is to continue excelling in the major races and, in particular, to aim once again for victory in prestigious classics like Paris\u2013Roubaix. I also want to specifically prepare for races such as the Tour of Flanders and other important classics in order to play a key role in the finales.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quebec company Premier Tech\u2013although not in the name, is on the jersey.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAlongside my personal goals, I want to help develop the team, support new leaders in their growth, and foster a professional spirit within the group. I also want the freedom to take initiatives during races to make the competition more exciting and engaging for the fans,\u201d she said. \u201cFinally, I am delighted to continue my collaboration with Cannondale, and I am open to exploring new side projects that will enrich my journey.<\/p>\n

She is not the only Canadian on the team. Clara Emond and Simone Boilard are also racing on the ProTeam for 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n

Her new national championship jersey is slightly more traditional than previous iterations from her EF years, using the same design that was used for decades before Cycling Canada unveiled a new one for 2025.<\/p>\n

So\u2026about that new national champs design (that none of the pros are using)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post, the Queen of the Cobbles (and TikTok) laid out her goals, \u201c Win bike races! Dance and mangez plus de madeleines!\u201d<\/p>\n
