For the Sainte-Perp\u00e9tue, Que. veteran, that means Alpecin \u2013 Premier Tech outfits.<\/p>\n<p>Premier Tech joined the team of Mathieu van der Poel after ceasing to sponsor the then Israel \u2013 Premier Tech squad (now NSN.) In November a surprise statement was released. Of course, this was hardly the first time that the two followed each other. The same happened when Premier Tech left Astana to IPT, taking Houle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had a relationship with Premier Tech since 2017,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/sections\/news\/premier-tech-and-hugo-houle-join-forces-with-mathieu-van-der-poels-alpecin-squad\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he said after the news was announced<\/a>. \u201cWe built something strong together. When I joined Israel\u2013Premier Tech, it was because the team approached me about creating a solid Canadian project, and [CEO] Jean B\u00e9langer and I went in together. We had a good run. When Premier Tech decided to leave, the idea of continuing that relationship somewhere new felt natural.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Houle isn\u2019t the only Canadian on Alpecin \u2013 Premier Tech. Toronto\u2019s Noah Ramsay will once again ride with the Continental team. But you\u2019ll most likely see him racing up with the WorldTour team, just like he did\u2013with some quite respectable results\u2013in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Ramsay rode well at the Kreiz Breizh Elites, where he wore the points jersey, and finished 4th in the mountains classification and 7th in the points. Then, at the R\u00e9gion Pays de la Loire Tour\u2014only his second stage race ever\u2014he finished a very respectable 16th overall.<\/p>\n<p>The new kit retains its striking blue\u2013no denim this year.
