In December 2025, tragedy struck after Micah died<\/a> after suffering from a medical emergency.<\/p>\n \u201cMicah Joseph is beginning the new year basking in the never ending glory, love, and peace of God. Micah has been very busy already, as I see the Lord using him and sending him on missions to bring millions of people closer to God,\u201d Paul shared via Instagram in January 2026. \u201cWe are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses (Heb 12:1) that my son is now a part of. I couldn\u2019t be a prouder father. This reality gives me great joy and hope in the midst of sorrow. Our hearts are broken; but we trust in the Lord. My wife and I are living proof. And we are so grateful we said yes. You can hear him saying, \u2018Daddy, daddy, where is you?\u2019 I couldn\u2019t help but laugh because he daily looks for his mom, the moment I pick him up out of his crib in the morning. He\u2019s a total momma\u2019s boy.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul continued, \u201cOn the other hand, I couldn\u2019t help but begin to ugly cry by myself in the plane seat as I watched this clip, because I just love this boy so much. I felt so honored that he would actually look for me and miss me, while feeling simultaneously sad that I couldn\u2019t scoop him up and hug him in that very moment.
