In black, projected future routes.Routes in progressAvenue Viger\/Rue Saint-Antoine\/Rue Saint-Jacques<\/p>\n<p>Once it is complete, this 5.4\u00a0kilometre route will cross Le Sud-Ouest and Ville-Marie from Rue De Courcelle Street to Rue Berri and connect downtown points of interest, such as the Quartier des spectacles, Old Montr\u00e9al, the \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure, the Bell Centre and Atwater Market. Parts of the route were developed in 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Boulevard Henri-Bourassa route<\/p>\n<p>From Boulevard Lacordaire to Highway\u00a040, west of Highway\u00a013, the EBN, which is part of the Boulevard Henri-Bourassa\u00a0mobility corridor, will extend over a distance of 18\u00a0kilometres. On some parts of the boulevard, express bus service will be provided. Parts of the route have been fully completed or are currently being completed in Saint-Laurent, Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Montr\u00e9al-Nord.<\/p>\n<p>Civic participation initiatives are planned for the various sections of the route.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Talon\/B\u00e9langer route<\/p>\n<p>The Rue Jean-Talon-Rue B\u00e9langer hub will stretch from east to west across 15\u00a0kilometres between Boulevard des Galeries d\u2019Anjou and the future Namur-Hippodrome neighbourhood.\u00a0It will link several hospitals, shops and public transportation stations as well as highways and railroads.<\/p>\n<p>The first section to the east was completed in 2024 and 2025 on Rue Jean-Talon between Rue Boyer and 1re avenue. To the west, the bike line was extended on rue B\u00e9langer. A permanent bike plane is being planned.<\/p>\n<p>Existing routesRue Berri\/Rue Lajeunesse\/Rue Saint-Denis axis (Piste Robert Silverman)<\/p>\n<p>The Rue Berri\/Rue Lajeunesse\/Rue Saint-Denis axis crosses the island from north to south. This bike route was renamed in honour of cycling activist Robert Silverman. This key route has approximately 9 kilometers of bike paths. Between Boulevard Gouin and Rue Cherrier, Piste Robert Silverman crosses four boroughs and connects many important locations, such as the commercial street Rue Saint-Denis, the Sauv\u00e9 intermodal station, March\u00e9 Jean-Talon and the Marc-Favreau and Plateau municipal libraries.<\/p>\n<p>Avenue Souligny<\/p>\n<p>The Avenue Souligny route extends from Rue Honor\u00e9-Beaugrand to Avenue Hector in Mercier\u2013Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. It offers access to the Maison de la culture Mercier, the \u00c9cole secondaire \u00c9douard-Montpetit and the Ar\u00e9na Cl\u00e9ment-Jett\u00e9. It consists of a 2.1\u00a0kilometre bi-directional bike path.<\/p>\n<p>Rue Peel<\/p>\n<p>From Boulevard Ren\u00e9-L\u00e9vesque to Rue Smith, this <a href=\"https:\/\/montreal.ca\/en\/articles\/peel-project-17389\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">route<\/a> crosses downtown Montr\u00e9al through the Quartier des gares and the Griffintown sector. Many points of interest are found along this route, including McGill and Concordia Universities, the \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure, the Bell Centre, Rue Sainte-Catherine Street, the Peel Basin and a few metro and light rail network stations. Eventually, the 1.7\u00a0kilometre route will extend to Boulevard De Maisonneuve.<\/p>\n<p>Rue De Bellechasse<\/p>\n<p>From Avenue de Gasp\u00e9 to Rue Chatelain, this six kilometre route connects many institutions, including the Biblioth\u00e8que Marc-Favreau, Biblioth\u00e8que La Petite-Patrie and Biblioth\u00e8que\u00a0Rosemont municipal libraries, the Coll\u00e8ge de Rosemont, the Montr\u00e9al Heart Institute, and two hospitals, the H\u00f4pital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and the H\u00f4pital Santa Cabrini.
