Shara \u201cBullet\u201d Magomedov\u2019s 2025 featured the first loss of his MMA career, so naturally he wants revenge in 2026.<\/p>\n

Magomedov was a perfect 15-0 when he faced Michael \u201cVenom\u201d Page at the UFC\u2019s debut event in Saudi Arabia. \u201cBullet\u201d had absolutely no answer for \u201cMVP\u201d and his unorthodox style, and ended up losing a one sided decision.<\/a> But according to Magomedov, he took that fight despite being extremely sick.<\/p>\n

In a new interview following his grappling draw<\/a> against Arman Tsarukyan, Magomedov laid out his plans for 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy plan is to get back next year, smack somebody up, probably someone outside the top 15,\u201d he said. \u201cThen beat someone from the top 15. And next up, a Michael Page rematch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is a must,\u201d Magomedov continued. \u201cI want to prove to the fans that I didn\u2019t show what I\u2019m capable of because of health issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the Page loss, Magomedov revealed that he had serious issues with his intestine, stomach, and bile duct that had him afraid he\u2019d vomit during the fight.<\/a> \u201cBullet\u201d bounced back from that performance with a solid win over Marc-Andre Barriault four months later in July, and now he has a draw with top lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan.<\/p>\n

That bout was more of a tease than anything else \u2014 six minutes really isn\u2019t long enough for anything to develop. It\u2019s still longer than many opponents have lasted on the ground against \u201cAhalkalakets,\u201d but \u201cBullet\u201d doesn\u2019t consider the draw a moral victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome might think so, but I don\u2019t,\u201d he said. \u201cI went out there to win. Anybody who goes there with the idea he might lose has already lost. I think I had to win that, but six minutes is definitely not enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for his UFC return, Magomedov is unable to fight in North America due to only having one functional eye, so he\u2019ll have to wait for the promotion to return to the Middle East.<\/p>\n
