He has a $210,000 base salary, $40,000 in marketing money, $15,300 for housing and a $10,000 travel allowance to equal $485,300 in hard money.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell also has $30,000 available in incentives, which can be unlocked if he makes the active roster and plays one snap in 16 games. Should he achieve that bonus, his total for 2026 would top out at $515,300.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old ranks fifth after B.C.\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/01\/31\/b-c-lions-agree-to-restructured-contract-with-canadian-qb-nathan-rourke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Nathan Rourke<\/a>, Toronto\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2023\/08\/31\/toronto-argos-make-qb-chad-kelly-highest-paid-player-in-cfl-with-three-year-contract-worth-1-865-million\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Chad Kelly<\/a>, Winnipeg\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/05\/23\/winnipeg-blue-bombers-sign-qb-zach-collaros-to-contract-extension-through-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Zach Collaros<\/a> and Calgary\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2024\/02\/21\/b-c-lions-sign-qb-vernon-adams-jr-to-contract-extension-through-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Vernon Adams Jr.<\/a> among starting quarterbacks for financial compensation in 2026.\u00a0Ottawa\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/01\/15\/ottawa-redblacks-extend-qb-dru-brown-through-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Dru Brown<\/a>, Saskatchewan\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/12\/06\/trevor-harris-contract-details-with-saskatchewan-roughriders-for-2026-cfl-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Trevor Harris<\/a> and Edmonton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/12\/21\/exclusive-cody-fajardo-contract-details-for-2026-cfl-season-with-edmonton-elks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Cody Fajardo<\/a> are behind him.<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell earned <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/04\/14\/qb1-money-cfls-highest-paid-quarterbacks-for-the-2025-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">$374,800 in 2025<\/a>. He made around <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2024\/05\/07\/the-cfls-15-highest-paid-quarterbacks-for-the-2024-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">$350,000 in 2024<\/a> after collecting more than <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2023\/04\/17\/the-cfls-15-highest-paid-quarterbacks-for-2023-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">$500,000 in 2023<\/a>, his first year in the Steel City. In 2019, the Katy, Texas native was the <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2019\/02\/12\/details-of-bo-levi-mitchells-contract-with-the-stampeders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">three-down league\u2019s second-highest paid player at $675,000<\/a> while playing with the Calgary Stampeders, which was the most he\u2019s earned in one season during his career.<\/p>\n<p>The Ticats\u2019 QB1 completed 68.3 percent of his passes for 5,296 passing yards with 36 touchdowns versus 11 interceptions in 2025. He added 21 carries for 124 yards and his first rushing touchdown since 2015 last season. Mitchell started all 18 regular-season games, compiled an 11-7 win-loss record, and led Hamilton to first place in the East Division.<\/p>\n<p>The 13-year veteran has completed 65.3 percent of his passes for 44,319 yards, eighth-most in CFL history, with 262 touchdowns compared to 128 interceptions in his CFL career, while producing a <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/06\/27\/hamilton-tiger-cats-bo-levi-mitchell-becomes-fastest-cfl-qb-to-record-100-wins\/#:~:text=Hamilton%20Tiger%2DCats&#039;%20quarterback%20Bo,starts%20to%20reach%20the%20mark.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">110-46-2 win-loss-tie record during the regular season<\/a>. He\u2019s rushed 211 times for 1,034 yards, 4.9 per carry, and 14 majors. Mitchell has won two Grey Cups (2014 and 2018), two Grey Cup MVPs, and two Most Outstanding Player awards (2016 and 2018).<\/p>\n<p>The Tabbies ranked third in net offence, eighth in net defence, and first with a plus-10 turnover differential. The team\u2019s leading rusher was Greg Bell with 1,038 yards, the leading receiver was Kenny Lawler with 1,443 yards, and the leading tackler was Stavros Katsantonis with 69 tackles.
