The NSN Cycling team\u2013formerly known as Israel \u2013 Premier Tech, is shaping up. It all came together pretty quickly after Premier Tech dropped out in November<\/a>. They now sponsor Mathieu van der Poel (and Hugo Houle\u2019s!) Alpecin team.<\/p>\n

NSN<\/a>, a sports entertainment company (\u201cNSN\u201d stands for \u201cNever Say Never\u201d), partnered with Geneva-based Swiss investment platform Stoneweg to take over IPT\u2019s WorldTour and development teams.<\/p>\n

Registered in Switzerland, the team will largely operate from Barcelona and Girona.<\/p>\n

With new ownership and a revamped structure, NSN is aiming for a reset for the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

Drawing on their wealth of experience to the benefit of the team and our partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

The team also has a new sprinter on the team: Eritrean Biniam Grimay. He\u2019s only 25 but has won the Tour de France green jersey, won stages of the Giro and has been a force in one-day races.<\/p>\n

The team also added Lewis Askey, Ryan Mullen and Alessandro Pinarello for 2026. Although several Canadians have left\u2013or as in the case of Mike Woods, retired, there are still a few left\u2013as well as directeur sportfit, Steve Bauer. On the (once again) WorldTour team are Pier-Andr\u00e9 C\u00f4t\u00e9 and Guillaume Bovin. On the Conti squad, Dylan Bibic returns along with youngster Ben Morin<\/p>\n

Girmay will be with the team for three years.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking at the team\u2019s sprint train, they were always really strong, especially how they stayed together and motivated each other. I heard them many times during races, motivating each other so much, so I\u2019m really looking forward to working together. I see a great opportunity with NSN Cycling Team and I feel that this is the best thing for my future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The new kit is pretty colorful and unique\u2013and definitely a massive rebrand from IPT. They will also ride Scott bikes this year. Ekoi remains as clothing sponsor.<\/p>\n
