Actor Topher Grace (\u201cBlack Mirror\u201d, Predators) has officially joined Buddy, a unique horror movie from\u00a0Too Many Cooks and\u00a0Adult Swim Yule Log director\u00a0Casper Kelly<\/a>, per THR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grace joins previously announced star Emmy-nominated actor Cristin Milioti (\u201cThe Penguin\u201d).<\/p>\n

Naturally, plot details are being kept under wraps at this time, but it\u2019s described as a \u201cnew experience in horror.\u201d Kelly co-wrote the script with\u00a0Jamie King, who previously worked on the Disney+ family movie\u00a0World\u2019s Best. Considering Kelly\u2019s attachment, it feels safe to assume that\u00a0Buddy will live up to its \u201cunique\u201d descriptor.<\/p>\n

Topher Grace is best known as the squeaky clean lead in the sitcom \u201cThat \u201970s Show\u201d and as Eddie Brock in Sam Raimi\u2019s Spider-Man 3, but has recently appeared in episodes of \u201cThe Twilight Zone\u201d and \u201cLove, Death, & Robots.\u201d Most recently, the actor appeared in a brief cameo capacity in A24\u2019s Heretic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the mind-bending Adult Swim short \u201cToo Many Cooks\u201d and increasingly wild\u00a0Yule Log<\/a> and\u00a0its sequel<\/a>, Kelly also contributed the unforgettable \u201cCheddar Goblin<\/a>\u201d commercial inserted in Panos Cosmatos\u2019\u00a0Mandy.<\/p>\n

J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules are producing\u00a0Buddy via their BoulderLight Pictures, the banner behind this year\u2019s\u00a0Companion and upcoming\u00a0Weapons. Tyler Davidson and Drew Sykes are producing for Low Spark Films.<\/p>\n

With production underway in Ohio, expect details to slowly begin to emerge.
