Arman Tsarukyan just grappled<\/a> fellow UFC standout Shara \u201cBullet\u201d Magomedov on a December Hype Fighting card. That\u2019s a pretty interesting match-up, but it turns out it was the consolation booking. Hype Fighting CEO Armand Martirosyan recently shared pictures from his Instagram DMs revealing he sent an offer to Dark Knight Rises and Mad Max star Tom Hardy for the spot.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for fight fans, Hardy turned down the bout, citing filming conflicts.<\/p>\n \u201cArmand, firstly this is a very kind offer,\u201d Hardy wrote Martirosyan back. \u201cWhere and why has it come from? It appears to be far more money than any professional BJJ practitioner would usually earn. So it\u2019s not about that.\u201d<\/p>\n Several lines of Hardy\u2019s response were blacked out, with the next section of visible text reading \u201c\u2026also filming between now and March. Thank you so much for thinking\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Hardy is currently starring in the hit series MobLand, created by Snatch and Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie. According to the show\u2019s official Twitter, filming for season two started in mid-November and leaked photos of Hardy on set have appeared online over Christmas.<\/p>\n \u201cGoing down the local sports center to fight some bloke from Southampton or Milton Keynes who you\u2019ve never met before is terrifying!\u201d he told Esquire<\/a> in a recent interview. \u201cAnd people are watching, and they\u2019ve got their phones out, and it could be embarrassing. It could end really badly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI genuinely am keen to take on the painful journey of being brave enough to try something new \u2026 Because I\u2019d like to not look back and say, \u2018I regret not making the effort to do something that was scary.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Could Tom Hardy beat Arman Tsarukyan?
