We have more on Chris Jericho<\/a> and his current status with both WWE<\/a> and AEW ahead of tonight\u2019s episode of Monday Night RAW. <\/p>\n

In recent weeks, speculation has reached a fever pitch regarding former AEW<\/a> World Champion Chris Jericho returning to WWE. With some reports going as far as to say he could debut as soon as tonight\u2019s episode of RAW<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So what is the latest on this situation ahead of tonight\u2019s show?<\/p>\n

According to Fightful\u2019s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select<\/a>), memos in AEW went out today regarding the expirations of multiple talent contracts, but Jericho wasn\u2019t among them. Despite that, AEW reps haven\u2019t responded to him regarding Jericho\u2019s current status with the company. <\/p>\n

Sources have told Sapp that the relationship between Jericho and AEW is \u201cgreat.\u201d However, they understood that the general AEW audience had grown tired of him, which led to his exit from weekly programming in mid-2025. <\/p>\n

As for WWE, sources claim that Jericho\u2019s name hasn\u2019t been brought up in creative meetings as of yet, and he wasn\u2019t factored into tonight\u2019s show based on things that they\u2019ve seen. Though one source joked to Sapp that it wouldn\u2019t be the first time they\u2019ve been worked. <\/p>\n
