And the name they chose for this robot doesn\u2019t help.<\/p>\n

Why did the company choose THAT name for this robot?<\/p>\n

This bipedal machine is already being compared to the T-800 from Terminator 2 for two reasons.<\/p>\n

First, because of its metallic frame and second, because the company that makes this humanoid robot \u2013 EngineAI<\/a> \u2013 has actually called it the \u2018T800\u2019.<\/p>\n

Same exact name apart from the missing hyphen.<\/p>\n

They are designed to identify suspicious activity, scan for blacklisted individuals in crowds (for example wanted criminals), and even differentiate between real weapons and toys.<\/p>\n
