A Yellowstone National Park bison stampede is an awesome display of power and even grace as the colossal animals gallop across the landscape, en masse, with a sense of urgency known only to them.<\/p>\n
But when there are highways, automobiles, and even guardrails in their paths, a stampede can feature some clumsy moments.<\/p>\n

But moments after one bison leaps over the rail, another bison becomes temporarily stuck on the obstruction.<\/p>\n After that, it\u2019s clear sailing.
