NFL Wild-Card Weekend kicks off this Saturday, and TSN has the full slate of playoff matchups all weekend long.<\/p>\n
The Denver Broncos<\/a> and Seattle Seahawks<\/a> will have the week off as the No. 1 seeds in their respective conferences and will wait patiently to see who will emerge to face them in the Divisional Round.<\/p>\n The weekend begins with one of the MVP favourites looking to avenge a Week 13 loss, and finishes in Pittsburgh, where the Steelers will try to maintain the momentum after clinching a playoff spot in the final game of the regular season. <\/p>\n Los Angeles Rams vs. Carolina Panthers <\/p>\n The NFC South champion Carolina Panthers<\/a> will have home-field advantage for Saturday\u2019s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> but head into the game as the largest home playoff underdog in NFL history<\/a>. <\/p>\n Watch the Rams and Panthers LIVE Saturday on TSN1\/3, the TSN App, and TSN.ca<\/a> with coverage starting at 3:30p.m. ET\/12:30 p.m. PT and kickoff schedule for 4:30 p.m. ET\/1:30 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n The Panthers (8-9) will welcome the Rams (12-5) to Bank of America Stadium with a level of confidence after winning their Week 13 matchup that knocked Los Angeles out of the NFC\u2019s No. 1 seed.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s an opportunity to correct some things that we wanted to correct and try to replicate things that were successful for us,\u201d Panthers\u2019 head coach Dave Canales said of facing the Rams again. \u201cIt gives you a little bit of familiarity and confidence to know, \u2018Okay, this is a team that we\u2019ve seen before, we\u2019ve played them tough.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Carolina will be tasked with slowing down Matthew Stafford<\/a>, who led the league with 4,707 passing yards and a career-high 46 touchdown passes. The Panthers picked off Stafford twice in their Week 13 matchup. <\/p>\n The Rams are expected to get wide receiver Davante Adams<\/a> back from injury on Saturday. The veteran has been out since Week 15 but amassed 789 yards and an NFL-best 14 receiving touchdowns in his first season with the Rams. Quarterback Caleb Williams<\/a> improved in his second year under centre, finishing with 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns. <\/p>\n The Bears will head into the playoffs on a two-game losing streak, with their last win coming against the Packers in Week 16. <\/p>\n Green Bay (9-7-1) enters Saturday\u2019s matchup on a four-game losing skid but will have quarterback Jordan Love<\/a> back in the lineup after he left the Week 16 game with a concussion. He was cleared for the Packers\u2019 Week 18 game against the Minnesota Vikings<\/a> but served as the backup to Clayton Tune<\/a>.<\/p>\n Despite backing into the playoffs, Packers\u2019 coach Matt LaFleur says he is confident in his team come Sunday.<\/p>\n \u201cI think our guys are excited,\u201d LaFleur said. \u201cThey\u2019re excited for the challenge. They\u2019re excited for the opportunity. And that\u2019s how we\u2019re going to attack it, and that\u2019s our mindset. Because right now, when you get to the postseason, everybody\u2019s 0-0. It\u2019s a, I mean, it\u2019s a clean slate, so we have an opportunity, and that\u2019s all you can ask for.\u201d<\/p>\n Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars <\/p>\n For the first time since 2019, the Buffalo Bills<\/a> will not open their playoffs in the friendly confines of Highmark Stadium.<\/p>\n After finishing second in the AFC East, Buffalo (12-5) will travel to Jacksonville (13-4) to battle Trevor Lawrence<\/a> and the AFC South Champion Jaguars. They do some good things on offence, and they\u2019ve got some talent around, which certainly helps.\u201d<\/p>\n It will be a battle of strengths on Sunday, as the Bills\u2019 No. 1 rush offence will go head-to-head against the Jaguars league-leading run defence. Led by James Cook, the Bills ran for a league-best 159.6 yards per game. On the other side of the ball, Jacksonville held their opponents to an NFL-low 85.6 yards per game. <\/p>\n Josh Allen<\/a> maintained his streak of consecutive starts after playing one snap in Week 18 against the Jets. Despite dealing with a foot injury, the 2024 NFL MVP is expected to suit up for Sunday\u2019s wild-card showdown. I\u2019ve got a lot of respect for coach Shanahan and all the success that he has had and that team. A lot of respect for that football team.\u201d<\/p>\n The Eagles head into the playoffs looking to repeat as Super Bowl Champions, following the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, who won back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n The Niners\u2019 offence will need to bounce back quickly after scoring just three points in their Week 18 loss to the Seattle Seahawks<\/a>. The 23-year\u2013old had the fourth-most passing yards (4,394), third-most passing touchdowns (31) and led all starting quarterbacks with a 72 per cent completion percentage.<\/p>\n For his efforts, Maye is one of the favourites, along with Stafford, to win the MVP award this season. He will be in tough against a Chargers\u2019 defence that held opposing QBs to the fifth-lowest completion percentage and fourth-lowest total yards this season. <\/p>\n The Chargers (11-6) head into Sunday\u2019s matchup on a two-game losing streak, including a 19-3 loss to the Broncos in Week 18 where starter Justin Herbert<\/a> did not start. The Texans\u2019 defence held teams to 17.3 points and 277.2 total yards per game this season, both franchise best marks.<\/p>\n \u201cOur defence did a really nice job throughout the entire year,\u201d head coach DeMeco Ryans said. \u201cLimiting points, specifically, that\u2019s what makes you a good defense.\u201d<\/p>\n Led by Will Anderson Jr.<\/a>, Danielle Hunter<\/a>, and Derek Stingley, the Houston defensive unit helped navigate an 0-3 start and the loss of quarterback C.J.
