The Montreal native recorded 20 receptions for 407 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie, which included a breakout game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 12 that saw him go for 156 yards and two scores. <\/p>\n
If Alford does not make it in the NFL, Calgary retains his CFL rights until his rookie deal expires in 2028. <\/p>\n
Hutchings, 26, was named to the All-CFL team after recording 39 tackles and eight sacks over 17 games. <\/p>\n
The defensive tackle was scheduled to become a CFL free agent in February before signing with the Vikings. If he is released by the Vikings, he will be eligible to sign with any CFL or NFL team. <\/p>\n
Roberts, 24, of Charlotte, N.C., registered a team-high 93 tackles last season with the Stampeders. He also recorded nine special-teams tackles, four sacks, and one forced fumble in 18 regular-season contests.<\/p>\n
The linebacker\u00a0joined the Stampeders during the 2024 campaign, recording four tackles and 10 special-teams tackles in six games.\u00a0Roberts\u00a0was also slated to become a CFL free agent next month. <\/p>\n
The Stampeders finished third in the West Division last season with an 11-8 record, then lost to the B.C. Lions in the West semifinal.<\/p>\n
