LeBron James continues to prove he’s unlike any other player in NBA history.<\/p>\n

He went for 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists on Tuesday night, a vintage King performance, to carry the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> past a pesky New Orleans Pelicans<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

In the process, he raised his season scoring average to more than 21 points per game.<\/p>\n

And yeah, he’s 41 years old.<\/p>\n

A great data journalist on X, Lev Akabas<\/a>, used this as an opportunity to show James’ greatness.<\/p>\n

He put together a chart that shows the top scoring averages by age. And, well, James is breaking the aging curve:<\/p>\n

And now at age 41, LeBron is averaging more points than anyone ever before.<\/p>\n

The only thing that would keep him from breaking marks at further ages would be retirement.<\/p>\n
