\n\tBruno Mars has announced<\/a> that his new album, \u201cThe Romantic,\u201d is set to release on February 27, with new music dropping this Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer teed up the album announce earlier this week by posting on social media that his album was done. \u201cThe Romantic\u201d will be his fourth studio album and first solo outing since \u201c24K Magic,\u201d which dropped in 2016. He last released a project in 2021 as one-half of Silk Sonic alongside Anderson .Paak with the record \u201cAn Evening With Silk Sonic,\u201d which earned them Grammys for record of the year, song of the year, best R&B performance and best R&B song.<\/p>\n

\n\tThough Mars has been out of the spotlight as a solo artist, he spent 2025 dominating the charts with various collaborations. \u201cDie With a Smile,\u201d his duet with Lady Gaga, was one of the biggest singles of the year, crowning the Billboard Hot 100 for five non-consecutive weeks and becoming the fastest song to reach a billion Spotify streams. He also popped up alongside Sexyy Red for \u201cFat Juicy & Wet\u201d and Ros\u00e9 for \u201cAPT.,\u201d the latter of which is nominated for record of the year, song of the year and best pop duo\/group performance at the Grammys next month.<\/p>\n

\n\tMars\u2019 last album, \u201c24K Magic,\u201d released in Nov. 2016 and bowed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. It spawned the singles \u201c24K Magic,\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s What I Like\u201d and \u201cFinesse (Remix)\u201d featuring Cardi B.
