\n\tThe internet had a spidey sense that Sadie Sink<\/a> was going to be a part of the Spider-Man<\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring her Monday appearance on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon noted that the Stranger Things star will next be seen in Tom Holland\u2019s fourth Spider-Man film. Fallon acknowledged that Sink can\u2019t share much about the project \u2014 specifically what character she\u2019s playing \u2014 which she admitted was \u201ctorture.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s so much speculation, too,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cI\u00a0feel like there\u2019s a new character every week\u201d that fans theorize she might be portraying. The Tony Award nominee<\/a> notably shared that before she got the offer to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>, she saw fan theories online that she\u2019d be involved in the project.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI found out through online theories. Like, before I got cast in Spider-Man, like, there was speculation online that said, \u2018Sadie Sink is going to be in the new\u00a0Spider-Man,’\u201d she explained. \u201cI was like, \u2018Hmm? I am?\u2019 And sure enough, two days later, they asked me to do it. So yeah, those theories, there\u2019s sometimes some truth to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was revealed<\/a> last May that Sink joined the cast of Brand New Day, though her role has been kept strictly under wraps. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, the actress said that \u201cit was crazy\u201d when she found out she\u2019d be joining the Marvel<\/a> Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI found out while we were wrapping up season five [of\u00a0Stranger Things]. Spider-Man has always been my favorite. I love Spider-Man. I love Tom\u2019s Spider-Man, especially,\u201d she said, adding that keeping Marvel-related secrets came easily due to her work on Stranger Things.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI had an amazing time working on that film. I can\u2019t wait to talk about it more. There\u2019s so much I want to share,\u201d Sink said. \u201cThat\u2019s why I feel like keeping\u00a0Stranger Things\u00a0secrets are kind of easy because I have so many\u00a0Spider-Man\u00a0secrets I\u2019m sitting on that feel even more secretive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSink will star in Brand New Day alongside Holland, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon return as MJ and Ned. Other new additions to the cast include Mark Ruffalo, who is\u00a0reprising his longtime MCU role<\/a>\u00a0as Bruce Banner\/the Hulk; Michael Mando, who played the Scorpion in\u00a0Spider-Man: Homecoming;\u00a0and Jon Bernthal<\/a>, as the Punisher. <\/p>\n
