The song follows Le Bon\u2019s production of her onetime tourmate\u2019s 2024 album <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/st-vincent-all-born-screaming\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">All Born Screaming<\/a> and her vocal turn on the title track.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh off her October album <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/reviews\/albums\/cate-le-bon-michelangelo-dying\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michelangelo Dying<\/a>\u2014as well as her production of <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/artists\/dry-cleaning\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dry Cleaning<\/a>\u2019s imminent <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/dry-cleaning-announce-new-album-secret-love-share-new-song-listen\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new album<\/a>\u2014Le Bon is preparing to head out on a <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/cate-le-bon-announces-new-album-and-tour-shares-video-for-new-song-heaven-is-no-feeling-watch\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tour<\/a> of North America this month, starting in Washington, D.C., on Monday. She said of the new song in a press release, \u201c\u2018Always the Same\u2019 needed a little more elbow room than the album would allow but it is cousin to the song cycle of Michelangelo Dying, coming into formation in the same breath.
