Captain of the Super Eagles team, Wilfred Ndidi, has offered to sort out the unpaid bonuses of the squad, amid delay in payment from the Nigerian government.<\/p>\n
Ndidi has pleaded with this team-mates not to boycott training ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Algeria on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Eric Chelle\u2019s men initially refused to travel to Marrakech ahead of the game, but have now made the trip, while expecting their outstanding bonuses to be paid.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been pushing the team to train and play the game vs Algeria. I\u2019ve been doing this since the second game,\u201d Ndidi said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve now made a commitment to the staff and players that I\u2019ll personally pay the bonuses if the authority fail to before Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want this unpaid bonuses to affect our preparations. I told players and coaching staff that I\u2019d personally make the payments if they don\u2019t get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
