The Toronto Raptors<\/a> may have to endure a critical Eastern Conference showdown without two of their top players. <\/p>\n

Forwards Scottie Barnes<\/a> (right knee sprain) and Brandon Ingram<\/a> (right thumb sprain) have been listed as questionable for Friday’s showdown against the Boston Celtics (Sportsnet ONE, 7 p.m. ET \/ 4 p.m. PT), the team announced Thursday. <\/p>\n

Ingram suffered the injury in Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. He exited the showdown midway through the second quarter after appearing to jam his thumb while going for a steal on Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel in the first quarter. <\/p>\n

He finished the game with six points, two assists and three blocks on 2-of-7 shooting through 10:57 of action.<\/p>\n

After the game, head coach Darko Rajakovic said that Ingram is day-to-day and that X-rays on his thumb came back negative.<\/p>\n

Ingram has yet to miss a game this season, averaging a team-best 22.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists through 37 appearances entering Wednesday. He also ranks third in the NBA for total minutes (1,268.4).<\/p>\n

Barnes also suffered his injury against the Hornets, leaving the game in the fourth quarter, but was cleared to return shortly after having his knee examined by medical staff. <\/p>\n

He returned to the game with just under two minutes to go and finished the 97-96 win with 17 points, four rebounds, a steal and a block. <\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season, averaging 19.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks in 34.0 minutes per game. Like Ingram, he has yet to miss a game this season. <\/p>\n
