One in January<\/a>, another in October<\/a>, and a final one in December<\/a>.<\/p>\n Those wishing to immigrate through the PEI PNP should be aware that an EOI stays active in PEI\u2019s system for six months from the date it is submitted\u2014unlike other provinces, which typically have a one-year validity period.<\/p>\n As such, candidates should keep their profile up to date at all times, and if their profile expires, they will want to create a new one to stay in the running.<\/p>\n PEI advises candidates to submit an EOI profile as soon as they meet the requirements of their chosen stream.<\/p>\n The number of invitations and the candidates targeted will differ from draw to draw, with selection and ITA issuances dependent on the province\u2019s 2026 nomination allocation, labour market needs, and priority sectors and occupations.<\/p>\n A look back at the PEI PNP\u2019s 2025 draws and invitations<\/p>\n In 2025, the province conducted 14 draws, despite its anticipated ITA schedule for the year only including 11\u2014attributable to the three surprise draws mentioned above.<\/p>\n Of the 11 scheduled draws featured in its 2025 ITA schedule, PEI adhered to the listed selection dates for eight of them.<\/p>\n Over the course of its 2025 draws, PEI issued a total of 1,609 ITAs, with all but one of these having been issued through its Labour Impact<\/a> and PEI Express Entry<\/a> categories.<\/p>\n PEI primarily extended invitations to individuals working in priority sectors and occupations and international graduates from select designated learning institutions<\/a> (DLIs).<\/p>\n A single invitation was issued through its Business Impact Category, through the Work Permit Stream<\/a>.<\/p>\n In 2025, PEI\u2019s priority sectors included healthcare, trades, and manufacturing. The province has yet to release its priority sectors for 2026.<\/p>\n
