Per a first report from Sherdog\u2019s Tom Feely<\/a>, the former two-division champion has been removed from the official UFC roster. Last month, Cejudo announced his retirement in the lead up to his UFC 323<\/a> collision with Payton Talbott. Unfortunately for the former two-division champion, he was unable to leave the Octagon with a final victory<\/a>, as he wounded up bloody at the hands and knees of the young striker.<\/p>\n

Though likely his final one, this is not Cejudo\u2019s first retirement from MMA. Back in May 2020, Cejudo walked away from competition<\/a> following his first Bantamweight title defense, an incredible knockout win over Dominick Cruz. Cejudo was at the top of his game, actively defending the 135-pound crown shortly after abandoning his Flyweight throne.<\/p>\n

That retirement lasted for three years, as Cejudo returned in 2023. Sadly, Cejudo never made it back into the win column, losing consecutive fights to Aljamain Sterling, Merab Dvalishvili, Song Yadong, and finally Talbott. On the bright side, fans who miss seeing Cejudo in action can tune into his RAF wrestling match versus Urijah Faber<\/a> next month in Tempe, Arizona.<\/p>\n

In addition, \u201cThe UAE Warrior\u201d Mohammed Yahya was cut from the promotional roster as well. Yahya fought three times inside the Octagon, losing all three bouts and getting finished twice.
