Dinwiddie is in his first season in the Canadian capital following five years with the Toronto Argonauts.<\/p>\n<p>Reinebold, 68, joins the Redblacks after serving as defensive tackles coach for the last two years at the University of Hawaii. Reinebold has previous CFL coaching experience as an assistant with Hamilton (2013-16, 2019-21, 2023), B.C. (1991-93, 1996, 2018), Montreal (2012), Edmonton (1995) and the Las Vegas Posse (1994) while also having served as head coach with Winnipeg (1997-98).<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bdd530b378da8a22897eb1a10185cb46307df5d8866edeca29cbd0db86231e87.jpg\" data-pswp- data-pswp-width=\"928\" data-pswp-height=\"768\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bdd530b378da8a22897eb1a10185cb46307df5d8866edeca29cbd0db86231e87.jpg\" alt=\"Jeff Reinebold was named the Ottawa Redblacks special-teams coach. THE CANADIAN PRESS\/Peter Power<\/p>\n<p>Dinwiddie, who led Toronto to two Grey Cup wins, retained defensive co-ordinator William Fields, offensive line coach Mike Gibson and assistant special-teams co-ordinator\/quality control Nate Taylor. All three were members of former head coach Bob Dyce\u2019s staff last year, although Taylor was the club\u2019s running backs coach.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder of Dinwiddie\u2019s staff will consist of Drew Tate (quarterbacks), Pete Costanza (receivers), Evan Harrington (running backs), Phillip Daniels (defensive line) and Damaso Munoz (linebackers). Dinwiddie will also serve as Ottawa\u2019s offensive co-ordinator.<\/p>\n<p>Tate and Costanza both worked with Dinwiddie in Toronto. Tate served as an offensive assistant with the Argos (2024-25) while Costanza was an assistant with Dinwiddie from 2022-25.<\/p>\n<p>Fields was an assistant with Toronto\u2019s Grey Cup-winning team in 2024 before joining the Redblacks last year.<\/p>\n<p>Daniels spent the last two seasons as Saskatchewan\u2019s defensive line coach, helping the Riders win the Grey Cup last year. He was also on the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff (2016-19), helping the team win a Super Bowl title in 2018 after playing 14 seasons with Seattle (1996-99), Chicago (2000-03) and Washington (2004-10).<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\tWinnipeg Free Press | Newsletter\n\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/onsports-tile-1.jpg\" alt=\"Sign up for Mike McIntyre | On Sports\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Munoz returns to Ottawa, where he helped the Redblacks win a Grey Cup in 2016.
