Britney Spears<\/a> is addressing the chatter around her current dancing style.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n On Thursday, Jan. 8, the pop star, 44, shared a throwback photo on Instagram<\/a> from her performance of “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman”<\/a> at the 29th Annual American Music Awards on Jan. 9, 2002, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. She revealed her mindset towards returning to the stage in the caption of the post.\n<\/p>\n \u201cInterestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about,\u201d Spears wrote. \u201cYup and it\u2019s embarrassing sometimes\u2026 but I walked through the fire to save my life.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Britney Spears performs at the 2002 American Music Awards.<\/p>\n KMazur\/WireImage<\/p>\n The \u201cGimme More\u201d singer added that she has no plans to return to the stage unless she\u2019s out of the country.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cI will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons, but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son\u2026 in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon,\u201d she wrote. \u201cHe\u2019s a huge star and I\u2019m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!\u201d\n<\/p>\n Spears didn\u2019t clarify which of her sons \u2014 Sean Preston<\/a>, 20, or Jayden, 19 \u2014 she was referring to, but in the same post, she said she plans to send him a white piano she used during a performance at the 2002 American Music Awards.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The singer has previously raved about Jayden’s musical ability<\/a>, saying, “He\u2019s a genius and I\u2019m in awe of him !!! I can\u2019t believe he\u2019s mine !!!
