Floyd Mayweather<\/a> Jr has made his feelings clear on both fighters ahead of the upcoming \u2018super-fight\u2019 between Canelo<\/a> Alvarez and Terence Crawford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pound-for-pound stars are just over one month away from doing battle for the undisputed super-middleweight championship at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday September 13.<\/p>\n

Canelo began his second reign as undisputed champion at 168lbs when he defeated former IBF champion William Scull in Riyadh on May 3, becoming the first fighter in the history of the sport to achieve this feat.<\/p>\n

As for Crawford, the unbeaten 37-year-old from Omaha is due to make his first appearance at super-middleweight, having spent the almost the entirety of his tenure campaigning at welterweight where he became the first undisputed champion of the \u2018four belt era\u2019 when he defeated Errol Spence Jr 2-years-ago.<\/p>\n

One man with experience in sharing the ring with Canelo is retired pound-for-pound star and five division champion Floyd Mayweather, who handed the Mexican icon the first defeat of his career when they fought back in 2013.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Fight Hype<\/a>, Mayweather previously shared his thoughts on Canelo as a fighter, as he claims defeating the Mexican great was \u2018easy work\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can take a guy like Canelo. I\u2019ll tell the truth about Canelo. The mo**erf**ker was easy. A cakewalk, easy. You\u2019re all praising this dude. He was nothing. I was almost 40 and I cooked this dude, easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently Mayweather has shared his verdict on \u2018Bud\u2019<\/a>, praising his countryman by ranking him as the best fighter on the planet right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs of right now, I\u2019d put Terence Crawford as number one.\u201d<\/p>\n
