So far, 2026 hasn\u2019t done much to improve on the general hellscape of 2025\u2014but one of last year\u2019s standout bright spots remains a gift that keeps on giving. Netflix sensation KPop Demon Hunters<\/a> is poised to give Disney<\/a> a run for its money when \u201cbest animated film\u201d trophies start getting handed out, and it\u2019s keeping that momentum going by flexing the biggest hit off its blockbuster soundtrack album<\/a>, \u201cGolden.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Polygon<\/a> reports, KPop Demon Hunters\u2018 singing voices, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, debuted a new version of \u201cGolden\u201d on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It\u2019s the \u201cGlowin\u2019 Version,\u201d to be precise, and you can check out the performance here:<\/p>\n

This is not the first alternate version of the Huntr\/x track. Not by a long shot. A quick trip to Spotify, where the fictional band has its own page as well as several other listings, will reveal \u201cGolden\u201d has a \u201cDavid Guetta REM\/X\u201d as well as an extended version of the \u201cREM\/X,\u201d plus versions of \u201cGolden\u201d in French and Spanish, an a cappella version, a \u201csing-along\u201d version (seems redundant), and an instrumental. And there certainly could be more if you dug even deeper.<\/p>\n

We get it. KPop Demon Hunters became a smash with a big assist from its soundtrack\u2014but the album and movie have been out for months now. The merch for the film<\/a> has also been relatively sparse as Netflix and company rush to make up for the unexpected demand; had people with a financial stake guessed KPop would be such a sensation, you can bet we\u2019d already be seeing Stranger Things levels of tie-in clothing, toys, sneakers, and even random snack foods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plus, while there is a KPop Demon Hunters 2 on the way, there\u2019s no telling when that\u2019ll hit Netflix. While fans wait for the sequel and new tunes as part of that, it makes sense to tweak \u201cGolden\u201d as well as \u201cSoda Pop,\u201d \u201cHow It\u2019s Done,\u201d and all the other earworms from the first film, and ride the wave as long as it lasts.<\/p>\n
