Novo\u2019s cash-pay price for the pill is $149 a month \u2014 less than half of what its injectables cost through the same channel. <\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">Novo has partnered with big-box stores like <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/us\/en\/stocks\/COST\/?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Costco<\/a> and <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/us\/en\/stocks\/WMT\/?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walmart<\/a> as well as several big telehealth companies, including Ro, <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/us\/en\/stocks\/WW\/?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Weight Watchers<\/a>, and <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/stocks\/LFMD?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LifeMD<\/a>, to distribute the pill. This comes as the Danish pharma giant is trying to regain ground after <a class=\"inline-stock css-1iix00n\" href=\"https:\/\/robinhood.com\/us\/en\/stocks\/LLY\/?source=sherwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eli Lilly<\/a> surpassed it in market share, in large part because of its early emphasis on direct-to-consumer channels. <\/p>\n<p class=\"css-14ve0pc\">The Food and Drug Administration approved Novo\u2019s weight-loss pill in December, making it the first approved weight-loss pill to go to market. It has the same active ingredient, semaglutide, as its injectable products, Ozempic and Wegovy.
