Carey will serve as the Argonauts running backs coach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Tucson native played 11 years of professional football, first with the Chicago Bears (2014-16) and then in the CFL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Carey was a CFL All-Star in 2022 and won the league\u2019s award for best rusher in 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">In his one season with the Argonauts, Carey guided the team to the CFL title. In the Grey Cup, he ran for 79 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Carey finished his CFL playing career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Carey played three seasons at Arizona from 2011 to 2013. He was a two-time All-American and the 2013 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Carey was taken in fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Bears.
