\n\tBritney Spears<\/a> revealed that she will \u201cnever\u201d again perform in the United States in a post shared to Instagram on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy winner, who has not toured since 2018, shared the news<\/a> alongside a photo of herself sitting on stage next to a white piano. In the post\u2019s caption, she wrote that she will not return to the stage in the U.S. due to \u201csensitive\u201d matters.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons,\u201d Spears wrote. \u201cBut I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son \u2026 in the UK and Australia very soon. He\u2019s a huge star, and I\u2019m so humbled to be in his presence!!! Godspeed, little man!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in the caption, Spears shared that she wanted to give the piano to one of her sons, although she did not specify which one. She shares two children, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpears also opened up about posting videos of herself dancing on Instagram, explaining that the dances \u201cheal things in my body that people have no idea about.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYup and it\u2019s embarrassing sometimes \u2026 but I walked through the fire to save my life,\u201d the singer wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSpears did not share any details about upcoming shows or concerts in the United Kingdom or Australia. A rep for Spears did not respond to The Hollywood Reporter\u2018s request for additional comment on her Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201c\u2026Baby One More Time\u201d singer, who is one of the best-selling artists in music<\/a> history, last performed in the U.S. in October 2018 when she concluded her Piece of Me Tour in Austin. Spears was scheduled to open her second Las Vegas residency, entitled Domination, in 2019, but postponed the shows before largely stepping away from music.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough she has not performed in nearly eight years, Spears has released new songs. In 2022, the singer collaborated with Elton John<\/a> on the single \u201cHold Me Closer.\u201d One year later, she released<\/a> the track \u201cMind Your Business\u201d with Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen you\u2019re in the spotlight, a lot of times you just want to live your life. There are lyrics in the song that point to that,\u201d will.i.am told CBS Mornings<\/a> at the time. \u201cThere is a thin line, and everyone deserves their version of privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n
