Former Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas was forced to shut down a bizarre rumour that had begun circulating on social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo the disappointment of many, I\u2019m sure, I am very much still alive\u201d- Calum Nicholas<\/p>\n
The Milton Keynes team\u2019s ambassador revealed that he had received messages from several people who had mistakenly believed he had died after seeing a post circulating on Facebook.<\/p>\n
After becoming aware of the situation, he took it upon himself to set the record straight via his X profile: \u201cThis is an odd thing to have to tweet. I woke up this morning to a few messages from people who\u2019d seen a Facebook post claiming I had died.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is factually incorrect. To the disappointment of many, I\u2019m sure, I am very much still alive (at least, physically).<\/p>\n
He finally added: \u201cI am going skiing today though, so there\u2019s hope for you yet. Have a great day. Don\u2019t believe everything you read on the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nicholas reveals what it’s like working with Max Verstappen<\/p>\n
Nicholas, who transitioned away from a frontline garage role at Red Bull last season to become an ambassador for the Milton Keynes squad, spoke highly of the Dutch driver.<\/p>\n
He referenced the 2023 campaign as a standout case in point, a year in which Verstappen, driving the all-conquering RB19 \u2014 often hailed as the most dominant car the sport has ever seen \u2014 claimed a remarkable 19 wins and consistently pushed the machinery to its absolute limit.<\/p>\n
