{"id":403555,"date":"2026-01-12T00:07:28","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T00:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/403555\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T00:07:28","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T00:07:28","slug":"tiger-cats-sign-star-offensive-lineman-revenberg-to-one-year-extension-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/403555\/","title":{"rendered":"Tiger-Cats sign star offensive lineman Revenberg to one-year extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">HAMILTON \u2014 The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed Canadian offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg to a one-year contract, the CFL club announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 33-year-old from Essex, Ont., earned All-CFL honours for the fifth time in his career last season and was named to the East Division All-CFL team for the sixth time. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Revenberg started all 18 regular-season games at left guard, giving passing leader Bo Levi Mitchell protection while opening up lanes for running back Greg Bell to rush for over 1,000 yards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was the East Division&#8217;s nominee for outstanding lineman for the fourth time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The six-foot-four, 300-pound lineman has played in 156 career games over nine seasons since joining the Ticats in 2016.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He has missed just two games over his CFL career, neither due to injury. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Holm signs extension with Bombers<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">WINNIPEG &#8212; The Blue Bombers have signed veteran American defensive back Evan Holm to a two-year extension.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Holm was named to the league and West Division all-star teams in 2025 <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He finished 2025 with 55 tackles, six special teams tackles, two forced fumbles and a team high four interceptions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He has played 63 games over four seasons with Winnipeg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Whyte re-signs with Lions<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">VANCOUVER &#8212; Canadian kicker Sean Whyte has signed a one-year extension with the B.C.
