PSG reportedly told Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma he will not be their first choice goalkeeper this season, hoping to push him towards the Premier League.<\/p>\n

His contract only runs to June 2026 and negotiations for an extension have hit a dead end, with the player refusing to accept a pay cut, or a formula that would make a large chunk of his salary dependent on performance.<\/p>\n

They must sell this summer to avoid losing him as a free agent and French transfer expert Fabrice Hawkins<\/a> on RMC Sport claims this evening Paris Saint-Germain have taken an extra step to push him out.<\/p>\n

That came from informing Donnarumma that he would not be their first choice goalkeeper, as Lucas Chevalier is set to arrive from LOSC.<\/a><\/p>\n

They hope that the Italian will not be willing to sit on the bench for the whole campaign and therefore more likely to accept a proposal from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are the clubs most interested in his services.<\/a><\/p>\n

It is turning into a battle of wills, as it is not the first time that Donnarumma has had to fight for the gloves in Paris, and he could be prepared to do it again.<\/p>\n
