British Britney Spears<\/a> fans haven\u2019t had a chance to see her live since she brought her Piece of Me tour to London\u2019s O2 arena in 2018<\/a> \u2014 but that could be about to change.<\/p>\n

Spears, 44 said she hoped to perform live in the UK \u2018very soon\u2019 alongside her son, Jayden Federline, 19.<\/p>\n

The pop star also vowed to never take the stage again in her home country of America, she decreed in a statement on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons,\u201d wrote Spears.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spears praised her youngest son as a \u201chuge star\u201d and said she would be gifting him the piano that she played at for the 2002 American Music Awards.<\/p>\n

Her son is reportedly exploring a career in music production, with Spears\u2019 giving him her full support. She began her own music career as a teenager, as documented in her recent memoir<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spears recently reunited with her formerly estranged sons, Jayden and Sean Preston, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Jayden reportedly spent Christmas with his mother in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The singer documented the diffulties she faced over her career in her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me<\/a>, including the opressive conservatorship she was placed under by her father following her split from Federline.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conservatorship stripped me of my womanhood, made me into a child. I became more of an entity than a person onstage,\u201d Spears wrote. \u201cI had always felt music in my bones and my blood; they stole that from me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spears performed her Britney: Piece of Me concert residency in Las Vegas during her conservatorship between 2013 and 2017, before the 2018 tour that became her last set of live performances. The conservatorship ended in 2021.<\/p>\n

Today, she dances for her fans on Instagram is part of her reclamation, Spears explained in the same post.<\/p>\n
