Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTaylor won the award for her performance as Perfidia Beverly Hills in Paul Thomas Anderson\u2019s black comedy action thriller.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAlso nominated in the category were Emily Blunt for \u201cThe Smashing Machine,\u201d Elle Fanning for \u201cSentimental Value,\u201d Ariana Grande for \u201cWicked: For Good,\u201d Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas for \u201cSentimental Value\u201d and Amy Madigan for \u201cWeapons.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEarlier in her acceptance speech, Taylor mentioned how her children were watching the ceremony. \u201cMy babies \u2014 they\u2019re upstairs watching. Y\u2019all better be off them damn phones and watching me right now!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShe later thanked director Anderson, playfully dubbing him Paul \u201clet him cook\u201d Thomas Anderson. \u201cThank you for your vision, your trust and your brilliance. My gratitude is endless. I love you, we love you, and thank you so much for holding space for me and our entire cast.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe 83rd <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/golden-globes\/\" id=\"auto-tag_golden-globes\" data-tag=\"golden-globes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Golden Globes<\/a> Awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second consecutive year, took place Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. \u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d led this year\u2019s film nominations with nine nods.
