Alexander Volkanovski is less than one month away from defending his UFC featherweight title against Diego Lopes at UFC 325<\/a> in Sydney, Australia, but he still doesn\u2019t know how he\u2019ll be compensated for the lack of pay-per-view (PPV) points.<\/p>\n

Remember, UFC transitioned to Paramount+<\/a> to begin the new year and are no longer part of the PPV model. This means changes for those entitled to PPV points, which includes champions like Volkanovski.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Volkanovski joined the Ariel Helwani Show<\/a> to discuss a variety of topics. Once of which was how UFC intends to rectify the loss of PPV points. Despite being less than a month out from UFC 325, Volkanovski still doesn\u2019t know what the promotion has in store.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot exactly sure just yet, to be honest,\u201d Volkanovski said. \u201cI think we are in talks with them so we\u2019ll see, but it is different right so that\u2019s why them conversations are going to be had. I\u2019m not sure. I\u2019m just focusing on what I do and I\u2019ll leave the rest to Ash.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDefinitely. For sure,\u201d he added when asked if he expects to be satisfied with the potential resolution.\u201c<\/p>\n

Volkanovski, who has been fighting off retirement questions<\/a> for the last few months, will meet Lopes for the second time at UFC 325 on Jan. 31 live on Paramount+ in Sydney Australia.
