The Hamilton Tiger-Cats continue to make decisions that maintain the foundation that made them successful this year. Hamilton\u2019s recent signings of Bo Levi Mitchell<\/a>, Jamal Peters<\/a>, Stavros Katsantonis<\/a>, and Brandon Revenberg<\/a> keep the Tiger-Cats\u2019 locker room leadership intact for another season. In addition, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats<\/a> officially announced their coaching staff for the 2026 CFL season, with 10 coaches returning from last year\u2019s staff, including Head Coach Scott Milanovich and Quarterbacks Coach Jarryd Baines, who will also serve as Hamilton\u2019s Offensive Coordinator.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Tiger-Cats coach Special Teams Coordinator Dennis McKnight has been replaced, with Hamilton hiring Bob Dyce<\/a> as Special Teams Coordinator.<\/p>\n

Long-time CFL coach Bob Dyce has joined the Hamilton Tiger-Cats<\/a> staff as their Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. Dyce is replacing last year\u2019s special teams coordinator, Dennis McKnight. In addition, James Tuck has been named as Dyce\u2019s Co-Special Teams Coordinator, and Myer Spitulnik has taken over as the Running Backs coach for Tuck.<\/p>\n

Dyce has spent the last three CFL seasons as the head coach of the Ottawa Redblacks<\/a>. Previously, Dyce had been the Redblacks\u2019 special teams coordinator from 2016 until becoming the head coach in 2022. Before coming to Ottawa, Dyce spent five seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders<\/a>, including their passing game coordinator and wide receiver coach in 2010 until 2011, offensive coordinator position in 2012, special teams coordinator from 2013 until 2015, and the Roughriders\u2019 interim head coach at Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n

Dyce is a native of Manitoba, and he began his CFL coaching career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers<\/a> as their wide receivers coach from 2003 to 2009. During his coaching career, Dyce has been a part of two Grey Cup championships in 2013 and 2016. The Tiger-Cats\u2019 special teams should benefit from Dyce\u2019s extensive experience as a coach in the CFL.<\/p>\n
