The event takes place Feb. 28 at Arena CDMX and streams on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Vera looks to right the ship as he enters the bout on a three-fight losing streak. After bouncing back with a decision win over Pedro Munhoz at UFC 292 in August 2023, \u201cChito\u201d faced Sean O\u2019Malley for the bantamweight title at UFC 299 in March 2024, dropping a unanimous decision. Since then, Vera dropped decisions to Deiveson Figueiredo and \u2014 most recently \u2014 Aiemann Zahabi at UFC Vancouver this past October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Martinez already finds himself in the bantamweight rankings after just two octagon appearances.
