Jan. 13 (UPI) — A bear that was finally evicted from underneath a California house after several months may have found a new home underneath another house nearby.<\/p>\n

The bear, which had been visiting Ken Johnson’s Altadena home since at least April<\/a>, was finally evicted from the crawlspace underneath the house last week thanks to the efforts<\/a> of a Lake Tahoe-based nonprofit called BEAR League.<\/p>\n

An electrified mat was placed at the entrance to Johnson’s crawlspace to prevent the bear from returning, but the bruin may have now found a new home underneath another Altadena house.<\/p>\n

Residents of a house located about half a mile away<\/a> from Johnson’s home shared photos showing a bear that has now moved into their crawlspace.<\/p>\n
