He played 36 games with the double blue, registering 88 defensive tackles, 26 special teams tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions and one forced fumble.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe has heavy hands, and he can bring it,\u201d Blue Bombers coach Mike O\u2019Shea said in a previous interview. \u201cHe had this big dude over top of him, as he was on punt team, and this guy was rushing him, and\u00a0Jones\u00a0snapped him. He says his faith kept him positive, despite watching the season unfold from the sidelines. \u201cMy morals are based on Christianity and Christ, and I continue to follow his word and how he would handle things,\u201d Jones said. \u201cAnd I think he would handle them with grace, joy and peace Has it been hard? Yeah.
