Helena Bonham Carter put on a striking display in a floral gown as she joined her glamorous co-star Mia McKenna-Bruce at the premiere of Seven Dials.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The gripping three-part adaptation of Agatha Christie’s 1929 novel sees Mia putting on her detective hat in the role of Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent, as she set out to solve an enigmatic murder.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She is joined in the exciting mystery by acting icon\u00a0Helena<\/a>\u00a0as her\u00a0mother, Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman<\/a> in the role of Superintendent Battle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Stepping out for the premiere in London on Tuesday<\/a>, Helena, 59, showed off her ageless beauty.<\/p>\n

Helena wore a black and pink floral lace midi-dress in a sheer tulle fabric, which featured a bejewelled belt, high neckline and a tiered skirt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She paired the dress with chunky black, tan and white patent loafers, with her dark locks in tight curls and a bright red lipstick.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Amelia wore a black tulle ruffled gown featuring polka dots and a slim belt, as well as chunky boots.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trailer begins at a masquerade ball in the mid-1920s, where the handsome Gerry Wade is seen flirting and dancing with Bundle, before being interrupted right as it seems he is about to propose.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, the next morning the household are disturbed by the noise of a cacophony of alarm clocks from Gerry’s room, sparking the ire of\u00a0Lady Caterham.<\/p>\n

A shocked and devastated Bundle investigates only to find her future\u00a0fianc\u00e9 lying dead in his bed, with\u00a0seven clocks arranged on his mantelpiece.<\/p>\n

Channelling her grief and despair into vengeance, she vows to uncover who is responsible for Gerry’s death, telling her mother: ‘I\u2019m not going to rest until I find out what happened to him’.<\/p>\n

But as she begins to delve into the mystery of ‘the Seven Dials’, she received repeated warnings to stay away by her friends\u00a0Ronnie Devereux and\u00a0Jimmy Thesiger, as well as\u00a0Battle, a Scotland Yard superintendent looking into the case.<\/p>\n

Ronnie warns: ‘Be careful who you speak to about this’, as Battle echoes: ‘This is treacherous with a high degree of peril.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

But ignoring their warnings, Bundle is seen stubborn continuing her investigation to get ‘the full picture’ while Lady Caterham insists: ‘People who go looking for trouble usually find it’.<\/p>\n

Mia oozed glamour later in the evening as she was spotted sipping on a cocktail at the premiere’s after party<\/p>\n

The raucous party saw a host of famous faces, including Nabhaan Rizwan and Ella Rae Smith, join the cast members\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mia and Corey enjoyed a boozy night as they drank cocktails and wine and\u00a0flashed a smile for the camera<\/p>\n

Martin was seen posing for a snap with co-stars Mia, Edward and Corey as well as Tim Preston<\/p>\n

And the trailer shows that trouble is indeed brewing, as scenes flash of someone being shot, a masked figure, Bundle weeping over a bloodied body and then falling from a window.<\/p>\n

However, she proclaims she will keep going until she finds out who murdered Gerry, vowing: ‘I am not going to stop until I get to the truth’.<\/p>\n

The timeless mystery has been reimagined for a modern audience by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall and is directed and executive produced by Chris Sweeney.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the ways they’ve adapted it, Mia told Tudum<\/a>:\u00a0‘It was really important to make Agatha Christie feel accessible to people who hadn\u2019t read her work but also hold on to the heart of those murder mysteries.\u00a0I really feel like we did what we set out to do.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

While she explained how her character, Bundle, also behaves differently to how\u00a0 upper-class women were expected to in the 1920s.<\/p>\n

All three episodes of\u00a0Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials <\/a>are set to land on Netflix on Thursday, January 15.<\/p>\n
