Along with <a href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2304925\/reunited-wu-lyf-debut-new-songs-at-first-show-in-13-years\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reuniting<\/a> for their first shows in over a decade, the Manchester indie rock favorites released\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stereogum.com\/2302617\/reunited-wu-lyf-share-first-new-song-in-13-years-a-new-life-is-coming\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\">their first new song in 13 years<\/a>, then <a href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2321318\/wu-lyf-pull-new-single-from-spotify-cite-ceos-investment-in-ai-weaponry\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">took it down from Spotify<\/a> a few months later in protest of CEO Daniel Ek&#8217;s investment in AI military technology. Today \u2014 along with a revamped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldunite.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">website<\/a> \u2014 WU LYF have shared another new single called &#8220;Tib St. Tabernacle.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tib St. Tabernacle&#8221; isn&#8217;t available on Spotify, either, but it is on Bandcamp. It&#8217;s 11 minutes of slowly-unfurling psych-rock, with a lot to unpack in its lyrics: &#8220;So feel your grief and your agony\/ All your pain and your suffering\/ Transfigured in ecstacy\/ I only want us to be free.&#8221; It&#8217;s billed as a &#8220;bold new chapter&#8221; for WU LYF, who are also going on US tour this spring.
