They have now <a href=\"\" rel=\"\" title=\"\">upgraded their warning from yellow to orange.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The agency says 20 to 30 centimetres of snow is expected, with reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow. The snowfall is expected to continue through the morning and taper off late this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cTravel will be hazardous. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic,\u201d Environment Canada said, adding that very cold wind chills will worsen conditions and that non-essential travel should be avoided.<\/p>\n<p>7:50 a.m. &#8211; OPP urges drivers to stay off roads as crashes mount<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ontario Provincial Police are urging drivers to avoid any unnecessary travel as the winter storm continues to pound the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cPlenty of cars in the ditches. She says that means leaving plenty of time to commute, making sure your vehicle has extra windshield washer fluid and, most importantly, slowing down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are Canadians.
