It had everything: a fireplace burning, candles, this super romantic setting.\u201d<\/p>\n
It certainly sounded like the start to an enchanting night, but it didn\u2019t go the way Sobchak envisioned.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, here I am, sitting across from this guy,\u201d she said. \u201cYoung, hot, all muscles, great.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re sitting there, and he\u2019s like, \u2018You know what I thought would be a great plan for tonight? Let\u2019s watch my best goals.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have absolutely no f****** clue about hockey,\u201d Sobchak said. \u201cLike, I have no idea how it\u2019s even played. I kind of know you need sticks, and that\u2019s literally all I know.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sobchak claimed that for the next two hours, in front of the candlelight and the big screen television, Bure showed her his highlight reel.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was just sitting there like, \u2018wow, you\u2019re awesome, dude.\u201d<\/p>\n
The date apparently occurred shortly after Bure retired from the NHL and returned to Moscow. At the time, rumours of their relationship sparked after the pair was spotted in public together.<\/p>\n
Bure got married to Alina Bure in 2009, and the couple has three children together.<\/p>\n
As for Sobchak, the daughter of former Russian mayor of St. Petersburg, Anatoly Sobchak, she has no hard feelings towards Bure about the awkward encounter.<\/p>\n
