Lionel: I think I started changing what I wore in the 80s. Early 80s. I always had to ask myself, \u201cWhat am I gonna wear?\u201d I got sick and tired of it, and I like black, so I went to just wear black clothes. Everything I wear is black. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Carolyn: We used to play in a dart league at the Moose, about 10-12 years ago. He used to play in the men’s division. The darts he used were all feathered.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lionel: For the colour that was on the flight on the dart, I would wear the same colour shirt. I used to wear blue, green, red, white.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Carolyn: Every colour there was, he wore the same colour. We ran the league for about 15 years; I would say all the way to the 1980s. After we got older, we stopped.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lionel: I started wearing black, so I don\u2019t have to worry about what to choose; if everything\u2019s black, I can grab anything in there. Then what I\u2019ll do is buy three pairs of pants, the same black pants, right away, so I don’t have to worry about it. I got into that style, and I stayed with it. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Carolyn: Well, black\u2019s the easiest color, right?\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lionel: Sometime\u2019s I’ll be asked, \u201cWhat colour are you wearing this time?\u201d \u00a0 I\u2019ll tell them something like, \u201cI don\u2019t know if this time I should go with the light black or the dark black.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Carolyn: They don’t all match quite as often as you\u2019d think. “This black doesn’t match that black.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lionel: I don’t have those problems, I just say \u201cLook, I’ll take the black one today.\u201d That\u2019s when I had to have started wearing my cowboy hats, at the same time. I’d say that started when country-western ran in, about 1980, when it really picked up. \u00a0 Since I was a kid, I liked cowboy hats. I\u2019ve got a picture, from when I was about eight years old \u2013 I had a hat, cowboy hat. So, it goes way back.\u00a0<\/p>\n
