\n\tLizzie McGuire turned 25 years old this week, but there\u2019s no need to live in the past. After some teasing<\/a>, Hilary Duff<\/a> has dropped another single, off her upcoming album Luck \u2026or Something. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tCo-written by Duff, her husband, musician Matthew Koma, and Brian Phillips, \u201cRoommates\u201d is a pop stunner about losing the spark in a relationship. With razor-sharp lyrics and bright, synth-heavy production reminiscent of Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cCruel Summer,\u201d it\u2019s easily one of her best songs in years. \u201cI only want the beginning, I don\u2019t want the end\/I want the part where you say goddamn,\u201d she sings. \u201cBack of a dive bar\/Giving you head\/Then sneak home late\/Wake up your roommates.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe video above, directed by Matty Peacock, features Duff alongside a partner she\u2019s drifting apart from. It begins to rain as she makes a run for it, reminding us of her \u201cCome Clean<\/a>\u201d days. How did we make it<\/a> 10 years without any new music?<\/p>\n

Shortly after, she announced the Small Rooms, Big Nerves tour<\/a>, which sold-out immediately (if you missed out on scoring tickets to those, don\u2019t worry: she\u2019s already teased more shows<\/a>).
