Realmuto is staying in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n<p>The catcher re-signed with the Phillies on a three-year, $45-million deal on Friday, per <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JonHeyman\/status\/2012231937771950559?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">multiple reports<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The deal keeps Realmuto with the Phillies for an eighth straight season. <\/p>\n<p>Realmuto, 34, slashed .257\/.315\/.384 with 12 home runs over 134 games for the Phillies in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Originally drafted by the Marlins, Realmuto joined the Phillies in 2018 after five seasons in Miami. <\/p>\n<p>Realmuto was an NL all-star with the Phillies in 2019 and 2021. <\/p>\n<p>The move comes shortly after the Phillies missed out on Bo Bichette, who signed a three-year, $126-million deal with the Mets on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia was reported to be one of the favourites for Bichette&#8217;s services. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"J.T.
