Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is questionable with an oblique injury<\/a> for Saturday\u2019s divisional game against the San Francisco 49ers. Darnold told reporters Thursday he expects to play Saturday night, and head coach Mike Macdonald reiterated that sentiment on Friday.<\/p>\n

Darnold has started all 17 games for the Seahawks this season, and the team is coming off a first-round bye. If Darnold is unable to play, Drew Lock is the backup.<\/p>\n

On the other side of the matchup, the 49ers did not activate linebacker Fred Warner from injured reserve. Warner has been sidelined since Week 6 after dislocating his ankle. The 49ers still hope to get him back next week if the team advances to the NFC championship game.<\/p>\n

New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez is set to return from a concussion, as he was off the injury report on Friday. But Texans wide receiver Nico Collins remains in concussion protocol and is out for Sunday\u2019s matchup with the Patriots.<\/p>\n

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was also a full participant in practice, despite dealing with multiple injuries this week.<\/p>\n

Collins is unlikely to play in Sunday\u2019s divisional round game against the New England Patriots because of the steps needed to clear concussion protocol.<\/p>\n

Collins suffered the concussion in Monday\u2019s wild-card 30-6 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Collins had 3 catches for 21 yards in the game before going down.<\/p>\n

If Collins cannot go, expect Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins, and Dalton Schultz to see an increase in targets. Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson and Cade Stover could also see an increased role.<\/p>\n
